So in today's installment of Stuff That Is So Obvious I Don't Even have To Say It, HOW FREKAING HOT IS IT? I am dying. For those of you who don't live here, Melbourne is going through a mini-heatwave right now - for the last 3 days the temperature has peaked at around 43C/109F, which is the highest temperature recorded in Melbourne in six years.

LOL I LOVE THAT YOU MENTIONED "SLASHIEST" because there is actually tennis slash fic out there. Everyone slashes roger and rafa. And my mum said that roddick and roger's hug was "very close...it was almost gay". haha. dude, could you blame roddick though?
anyway you are absolutely right in that verdasco played really well - he actually gave nadal a bit of a fight. i always go for nadal too though cause he's adorable. (and talented, obviously). both he and roger have been such powerhouses this year that it was nice to see them against players in the semis that gave them a bit of a challenge. i think i'm going to go for rafa for the title, though really it could go either way.
it is sucktastic that your timetable screwed up like that! maybe it's because you have clashes? if not, maybe it's just screwy. definitely call up and get some answers for it. i hope you don't have clashes cause we were told in our info session that basically the only solution to clashes is to drop a class.
did you get a letter about the newbie camp, by the way? i don't think i'll be going, partly because we don't have $200 to spare and partly because i don't want to :p
