I sometimes just sing this on the way home
Ugh. Guess what. So I'm technically on holidays for the next few weeks, yeah, which should be all well and great, and it is, kinda. Except - I HAVE THE FLU LOL. I assume it is, anyway. I had a full-on case of the flu last year that kept me home for an entire week and I'm getting to close to feeling that sick so I'm assuming it's flu. Too much walking in the cold without my scarf, I think. But I guess if there's a good time to get the flu it would be now. The most hilarious part is that my voice is going due to my throat being sore so when I talk I pretty much sound like Barbara Stanwyck with a headcold. I feel like I should be walking around all "iI never loved you, Walter! Until I couldn't fire that last shot!" (If you understand that reference you are smart, LOL).
Aaaaanyway. I'm not even going to try and make this entry coherent because my head is all swimmy with, like, germs and stuff. But here are some few things of note anyway:
-xelanoops made a Hamlet/Ophelia fanmix. That's interesting.
-allthatcandyx made some gorgeous Across The Universe icons. I dunno, I think I just like it when anyone icons Evan Rachel Wood for any reason.
-lily_268 made me this KICKASS BIRTHDAY PICSPAM! Featuring Heroes, Lost, Michael Weatherley, Bradley Cooper and Senor Bale ♥
-Following on from that, a pimp for Lily: there is an Amanda Seyfried picture post here with some new scans and Mamma Mia stills and stuff.
-Everyone's nuts over Wordle. And it is kind of amazing for producing pretty stuff to stick on your wall. Also awesome.
Tomorrow I am going to lie in bed surrounded by tissues and try and write some damn fic because I have not written fic in SO LONG and I have decided I shall in between writing my novel for school about dead people. WOAH crazy sentence. Also earlier Steve Carell was on Rove (aussie late-night talk show) and said that he would go gay for George Clooney.
That was glorious.

ETA YOU GUYS ETA: I just wanted to say the subject line for this entry is a comment somebody made on Tim Minchin's Adam Hillsong lol. And it is so true because I too occasionally sing it when I am walking home. Also did you know they're getting Adam hills to commentate on the paralympics due to his one-legged status? That's...an odd choice, LOL. Whack.
