Hey guyz. So, I was going to update yesterday, but my net was reduced to dial-up speed like last Wednesday and such any April Fool's jokes I could have thought of have now escaped my brain, particularly after LJ themselves Rick-rolled y'all already. Genius. Never gets old, that. BTW, my brother woke me up this morning by telling me about the death of Bon Jovi....in a hovercraft...caused by a flock of renegade geese. He then went and told my mum that Garth Brooks died in a spaceship crash caused by an alligator, and it took me a second to work out it was April Fool's though I figured Jovi did not actually die when he told me a gosling snapped at the fuel attachments of their plane. Richie did indeed get a A DUI over the weekend however, apparentally with his current girlfriend and two kids in the car. It saddens me, especially that he chose a blood test over a breathalyzer so that there wouldn't be any rumours in the press that he was on drugs. Richie, Richie, Richie. When will you learn.
ALRIGHT, SO! I'll stop rambling about stuff you don't care about and go onto pimping stuff I bookmarked to look at when my net was fast.
- I'm loving the acid-bright colours in this icon post. (I love colour. I hate monochrome and dark colours. In real life I'm always surrounding myself with colour).
- academyawardguy has popped up on youtube with Oscar acceptance speeches dating back forty years. There's pretty much every actor/actress Oscar of the last six or seven years on his channel.
- lily_268 did this awesome Jim Sturgess/Joe Anderson picspam from Across The Universe and other things. I still haven't seen that, because I don't think it ever actually came out here. It might have had a short run in the indie section of my theatre but I never noticed it :( That happens to quite a few indie movies down here.
- Related: I hate themoviequiz cause it's usually TOO DAMN HARD! Although I get quite a few of them this week.
- LOL K SO who was it that said they wanted some more obvious Barney/Robin? Don't get alarmed but we may have hit the jackpot (that link being the latest of winter-baby's picspams). I am obviously fandom-psychic or something. I (and lily) say it and it COMES TRUE. WHEEEE!
Also, I had one of those "Hey, that's a great idea for a novel!" moments this week. This is quite unfortunate as a) in the next month or so I have to start working on my novel about a women whose dead fiancee comes back to life for school, b) i'm meant to be working on my Script Frenzy screenplay this month and c) I'm still working on my nano novel from last year! Ah, writing. You crazy crazy thing.
