where are all the good clooney-esque men?
Hello. So it's been really rainy today, huh Victorians. Dead set, I woke up and it was already spitting and it's probably rained heavily for at least four hours. I hope none of you got caught. If you did GET YO'SELVES SOME CUPPA SOUP PRONTO. BEFORE YOU DIE! (lol Mean Girls. Don't have sex because you WILL pregnant...and die!) Good thing that happened today though: I finally hit 10 feedback score on ebay, and I'm waiting on two items so soon I'll be up to 12. Wheee! I am such an ebay nerd, it's really sad.
On the topic of upsides, a nice LJ inbox thing I got today (Steph will like this one) - now that HIMYM season 3 is back in action, winter-baby has started her HIMYM Parallel Season 3 picspams again! Basically she picspams all the Robin/Barney scenes from an episode to make it look as though they are secretly ~together~. It is one of the loves of my internet life. I heartily suggest you all add her HIMYM picspam tag to your notification inbox thingydoodles.
Oh Robin/Barney. Look at them! They're so together. I am sad at times that the way they act around each other is so subtle, only because I think if they're together in 2030 or whenever, then the flirting would be a bit more obvious. That's not to say i don't think there's a possibility of that, though!
BTW, just randomly, you know what other half-hour comedy I enjoy? My Name Is Earl. Because it is awesome. Which reminds me; I really need to do a post on laugh tracks. HIMYM is the only laugh-track show/sitcom I watch, possibly because it's not typical, but the laugh track still makes me want to throw things at the TV. A decent show, IMO, shouldn't need a laugh track to be funny, but I'll go into that more in the aforementioned post.
These kicking pictures of Clooney have me remembering my Clooney dreams of yore. Would you like to hear one? K, I had this great one where I was friends with Clooney (I'm sorry, Geooorge) and he ended up taking me to Italy on a whim. So we're like walking around these cobblestone streets past all this architecture, he in his expensive suit and me in this 50's-style dress and heels and suddenly I'm like WAIT...I AM IN ITALY WITH CLOONEY, WHAT? So i started avoiding Clooney because I was confused. And then he found me and said something like "When i'm with you I forget about movies and cameras" and I was all ♥ ♥ ♥ and we went and had coffee. And then I woke up. Hey, look, it's raining again!
