Helloooo. So how has everyone's weekends been? I feel the need, not only because I care but because mum and I wound up in an Italian wine bar in Carlton to use her gift voucher, and it was lovely. And hopefully your weekends were that lovely. For you Italians/fact fans on my f-list, I had this tomato puree-y dish with herbs and a kind of napoli sauce, and pan-fried tuna on bread, while my mum went with calimari vegetable fritters and this eggplant salad thingy, with nice wine that tasted like berries. (Can you tell I don't drink/gourmet dine much? lawl we ate THINGS and drank STUFFZ) And then because this wine bar also sold wine, shockingly enough, we bought home a bottle of something and these little Italian cake things. Yes, I know nothing.
So, random: sometimes I'm just overwhelmed by how much I love Bon Jovi. A bunch of fans came out of the woodwork over at bon_jovi discussing which Jovi songs we don't like (the whole of "This Left Feels Right" always wins that argument when it comes up, for the record, though I actually like it) and someone linked the WSYCGH and Lost Highway videos. And eee, my boys are ridiculous and crazy and offbeat, and they build houses instead of making videos and go on terribly long tours and I love them ♥ And liking them is worth all the crap I get sometimes for liking a hair metal band, an 80's band, a sold-out band in the first place (none of which I believe in!). Just when I think they can't get any better/more awesome, they do. And of course, 25/01/08 BEST DAY OF LIVING. Meeting holymackeralcat and hearing Jovi play so loud they managed to scare beckzzz as she was coming off the train? Win, you guys, win.
So one day I need to do a post of Bon Jovi Stuff That Won't Bore Everyone so you all know what I'm talking about. That question meme a while back stated that half of you associate Jovi with me so I feel it is my ~duty~.
