update... and hopefully one of many
SO I reciently promised Ashley that I would try to post more and so here is my first attempt at keeping in better contact on here!
So we just got back into the country after taking an extended weekend down to the US for a gaming convention that Lenny and Nathan wanted to go to. it was a very enjoyable weekend, met some new people, had a bunch of laughs and got to meet up with some old friends from Rhode Island!
Boarder crossings are always fun, so each time was amusing to some degree and had potential to be worse, but since we are all honest (for the most part) and non-criminal it's all good! Thank goodness for RISK and Cheers!
All in all a good time. And for those that have wondered about my life/job situation. I am still at the Red Pepper, but possibly not for much longer. I may have a semi-full time position at Alderney Landing starting soon!! I have a meeting tomorrow about it, and hopefully some things can be solidified and worked out for the near future :) I am very pleased! it may also mean I won't be returning to school in September, but if I can manage to get a position in the line of work I would have been training for without paying that $4000+ I will be very pleased!
