Two more hours...
till I can be done with work for the day. It could be worse. It really could. Monday I worked from 8:20 am till 8:10 pm. Anyway.
So the holidays were ok. Kinda sad. I think there's always gonna be something missing from now on. I feel bad that I didn't have much spirit. I felt cookied out and kinda just didn't care. I tried hard though. So did John. He even bought extra presants which made me feel kinda shitty becuase I couldn't afford to do the same. (I know Christmas isn't suposed to be like that but when your the older sibling who's used to taking care of things being shown up by your little bro is hard to take) I made a huge turkey dinner and got my men out the door to visit with my dad's sisters. Apperently I've become the administraiter of these things, even with some of my friends. I got Sherlock Holmes dvds (Granda, be still my heart), books, a double feature of "Anne of a Thousand Days" and "Mary Queen of Scots", Heroes latest season and a shirt that had a lot more promise on a hanger then on me. I bought myself new sneakers and Supernatural season 4 on dvd with gift cards. Chad got me a wonderful bracelet from A Thousand Villages, yay for faire trade gifts! Julie's gonna make me a new chimese for my Ren Garb.
All in all it was fun. I liked the new Sherlock Holmes movie, started off a little dodgey but ended up really great. Jude was an AMAZING Watson as predicted. Mary grew on me which was good becuase I love Mary. Adler was great from the start. I was pleased.
Workwise things are interesting. Our Audit was done in two days and they were pleased. Thank God. I get worried about Audit from the last week of December till it's over (usually the second week of Jan) so it's always just a huge weight gone when it's over. Library is getting a new Director. She's nice and full of new ideas. I was sick last week and could bearly keep up with her. I also came in on Monday and she had re-arranged the whole place.
This year has started off way better then last year. 2009 ended with a great ep of Supernatural (even John liked it), games and Zombie movies with John. It started with me talking fandom with Marissa (explaining Star Trek after she watched the new movie without watching much of the orginals), church and Criminal Minds marathon. Dad even made dinner that night, all day I just sat around and watched Dr. Reid. A good day of nothingness.
I also started going to Zumba classes. Zumba = amazing!
So far, a few bumps but 2010 seems like it's gonna be better then 2009!
