Classic Movies

Jan 15, 2013 13:10

For some time now I have been meaning to make a list of films that people consider to be a classic. By a classic I don't necessarily mean films that are from 1920. They're the films that you might say 'OMG YOU'VE NOT SEEN THAT?' to when discussing it with someone else. There are some films I haven't seen and some that I won't want to see, but I want to make a list of these kinds of films and watch as many of them this year as I can.

So, this is where I need your help...please can you list some films you consider classics and I'll either add them to the list or tell you I've already seen them.

If I haven't seen them you don't need to do the 'OMG YOU'VE NOT SEEN THAT?' I already know, I need to, haha.

PLEASE NOTE:
-NO HORROR FILMS WILL BE ADDED TO THE LIST, SO THERE'S NO POINT SUGGESTING ANY. I don't do horror, I don't even do a little bit of horror. So please don't waste your time suggesting them!
-TELLING ME WHAT HAPPENS IN A FILM OR THAT I WILL LIKE IT BECAUSE X Y AND Z WILL NOT BE APPRECIATED. I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. I DISLIKE SPOILERS.

I do have a handful myself which I will add to the list and I'll be asking on Twitter too.
