Day 7 - Book that reminds you of someone
Most books don't really remind me of anyone. I have a book that reminds me of a place, but that has to wait until the next day.
I will pick The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants by Ann Brashares. The first three books in the series seem to have their own little meaning to me because the first came from Australia, the second I bought here in the UK and the third (and then subsequent books) I bought online from America.
The first book in the series was one I came upon without meaning to. I was given it as a gift by a friend called Nathalie. We've known each other since I was about sixteen (she's a year younger, I think) and we met on the internet. We spent years with a really good friendship and over that time we swapped a couple of packages. She sent me one with various awesome things in, including the book. I wouldn't have even considered reading it, probably, especially since the covers in the UK were different (the Australian cover was much more my style of book, yes I judge books by covers, but I'm very rarely wrong). But I did because she sent it to me and the rest, as they say, is history.
