Santa Baby was written in 1953 by Joan Javits and Philip Springer and was originally recorded by Eartha Kitt. In 1954 Eartha Kitt recorded another version of the song called This Year’s Santa Baby which was less successful.
The song itself is rather popular and has had many artists cover it, though there’s few interesting facts about it like there about other songs.

I’m not too sure about Michael Bublé doing a version of this song as it’s supposed to be about a woman…then again, the words have changed for this version, so it’s an interesting one to share. It makes me feel like it’s a weaker version though because it takes away the effect of the original. I liked it being a female song.
