my trip to italy was super duper fun! i have millions of pictures and i ate tons of pizza and pasta. i also have leg muscle again as we walked about 5 miles a day :) i still think that it's strange to learn about such beautiful things for years and then be able to stand there and see it in person. my mind is still processing everything. plus i got a really large jar of nutella!!
the adjustment back to home time has really thrown me this time. usually it isn't a problem, but i've been waking up at 4 a.m. unable to sleep again. lots of crochetting has been done!
i can't wait to get back to school. i started to organize and pack already. i can't wait to move back onto the floor. i miss my sisters. and my little will be living there too this year!! but it will be so weird not having all of the seniors around. i'm going to miss you guys. i'm kinda sad that in this next cycle i will be phased out. drama or not i love the fact that i can walk onto one floor and find all of my best friends.
christian may have a job possibility in the midwest. i would love for him to have a job, and he's been upset at not being able to find one. but that would be so far away. i am selfishly hoping that he finds something closer to home.
in other news...
bradford county is finally on the map. "Meth Valley" as they are calling my area is now (i believe this is correct) the countries largest producer of methanphetamine. I find it so hard to believe that my area is so controlled with drugs. but i guess there isn't much else to do. so the the next time you do meth, just think to yourself, one of muffin's neighbors probably made this.
i also read a scary article about how home that were used as meth labs can have residue traces forever that cause severe health problems. i wonder what that will mean for the real estate in the county. that isn't exactly something that you list when trying to sell. although i think a lot of the homes that people have been producing in have burned down.
