Because you are all on the edge of your seats waiting to hear about my night, yarn and the office...

i did laundry and put away all of my clothes last night. the piles had taken over my room because i'd been ignoring them for over a month.
my next cleaning task was to reorganize my yarn stash. i realized quickly that...
A. I need to come up with a better idea for storing all of it.
B. I need a bigger room, or better yet a room just for yarn!
C. I have wayyyy to many projects started. and patterns for future projects!

i just keep finding the "perfect" gift idea for every single person i know.

christian came to visit last night! he brought me icecream!!! but it was late when he got there and he couldn't stay. but he has a job offer! not in the feild that he wants, but it will be something until he can find something else. and it would mean staying in the scranton area, which was something he was hoping to be able to do.

i'm pretending to work today.
i think i broke the shredder, it is currently making a funny metallic grinding noise when i turn it on. so i stopped using it. obviously i have a lot of other work to do. my dad is at a conference today and everyone else is leaving semi early. so i am playing phone answerer and that is all. but yesterday i figured out a way to read a book while i shred. which is exciting because now i am almost done with Watership Down. hopefully this discovery will help me through my summer reading list (which i haven't even put a dent in yet!) i wish i could get my book out now, but to avoid looking unpofessional i will wait until i go home. boo. i started out not being able to get into the book at ALL. but towards the end it is getting exciting. i think my whole problem is not being able to relate to the rabbits. maybe if i was an animal person?

the B-A-N-A-N-A-S and 1, 2 Step songs just played on the radio. i wish more than anything that it was Cinquo de Mayo again! Ahh the "4th" of May, with Senor Garcia and sour mix marinades. Can this summer start over?

I also heard Leather and Lace in the car the other day. It always plays at THE MOST random times. Which I think is quite fitting :)
