For the Greater Good -- or not

Right, so just after I decided to take a little break from anything involving deadlines, this shows up. And I'm tempted, yet conflicted. Fun or stressful? Is it a good opportunity to write the AU of Epic Proportions Which I Already Started Ages Ago? Would anyone care to read it? Or should I just stay away, considering I haven't read or reviewed any ( Read more... )

No Springtime for me this year. I know it's due after my dissertation, but by that time I'll be freaking out about my final year exams and I'm just thinking that is generally a Bad Idea for me to be considering any real fests until I'm well out of the school-tide time, perhaps even until I'm settled back in the States (which may mean no winter fests for me too - but we'll see; that's a ways away). I hope you have fun with whichever ones you choose to participate in! :D

I have a dissertation too, but I thought maybe a project on the side would be a nice distraction... We'll see. Good luck with your academic endeavours. :-)

Good luck with your academic endeavours as well! I'm sure you're much more capable with such things than I am. I'm sure a project on the side would be a nice distraction for me, but unfortunately I tend to stress over fests too much and thus while it would be a distraction, it'd be a big stressor, too. :X Figured I'd avoid that!

Oh, I don't know -- you seem very diligent, while I tend to laze around a lot and then panic just before deadlines. Pretty counterproductive, unfortunately. *g*

*sends good vibes* You are awesome. I am awesome. We can do it! *nods*

*Giggles.* We seem to have a reasonably similar time-scale for working, only I spend your time lazing panicking and your time panic laze-writing. (I mean, working yes, but in a less panicked way because the deadline is coming and I realise I don't have any more time to allow for panic.) It makes me come off as rather crazy, though - hopefully your method doesn't!

We are awesome. We can handle this! *Cheers.*
