Would you like a ficlet?
The more I read about the current humanitarian disaster in Kurdistan, the more hopeless and awful I feel. But doing something is better than doing nothing, so in addition to donating money to Doctors Without Borders (MSF) I'd like to make an offer here.
I'll write you a snippet in the fandom of your choice in exchange for a donation to MSF. (I've picked them because they are ethical, reliable, actively working in the region concerned, and provide medical aid of the sort the refugees urgently need.) The rates are as follows:
> 500 words: 5 USD
501-750 words: 10 USD
751-1000 words: 15 USD
> 1001 words: 20 USD
I picked USD at random, not being American myself. If you want to make a donation in another currency, that's of course no problem. I'll work on the ficlets as soon as you've told me you've donated -- no need to give me a receipt, I figure this is trust-based -- and given me a prompt.
Fandoms I'll write: Les Misérables, Harry Potter, Narnia -- basically anything I've ever written in. If you'd like something else, tell me and we'll try to work it out. I'm willing to write pretty much all characters/pairings for this.
