1a. I saw palm trees for the first time ever.
2. I just had a fantastic night of dancing to 80s music (and other music inspired by 80s music) and I was completely sober.
3. I wish Anne was back from India, so that I could harrass her and tell her about this crazy town.
From time to time I think about this night I spent with my sister and some of her friends a couple of years back. They were having a party and I was sitting around on the computer and drinking while no one was looking. Numerous drinks later I was inappropriately performing Def Leopard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me," karaoke style, until the microphone was ceased from me. Later on, when I was getting to sleep, my sister's friend asked me why I drink, to which I replied, "to have a good time." When she questioned why I drink to have a good time, if I have good times while sober, I really couldn't think of an answer.
To this day I still can't. I'm actually proud that I was able to let loose and enjoy myself tonight without being completely wasted. But, my lush lovers, don't fear my days of binge thirst quenching are far from over and I look forward to Wednesday night when Alaina turns fake 21 according to her misprinted CA i.d. and we get sloppy for no reason, then wander over to Boardner's for Moscow-something or the other-night.
This has been such a sweet vacay and is going to go out with a bang.
Also, I purchased a vintage belt complete with gun holster and bullet canisters on the sides. It's beautiful and will be my new special occassions belt.
