riding with the king
Let's talk about my upcoming "vacation." I will be commuting from Brooklyn, to Westchester 4 days a week to work at Anthropologie, from 2 p.m.- 10 p.m.
I just did a lot of math concerning how much everything is going to cost me.
Travel Costs
10 trip weekly train pass = $50.59 x 16 days [32 trips total] = $151 approx.
30 Metrocard = $76
Total: $227
16 days x 7 hour shifts (less my lunch breaks) = 112 hours
112 x $10.50 = $1,176
Salary - Travelfare = $949
Hopefully I can save some of that. I would like to go to the LA with $600 to hang out with. I clearly haven't calculated my shopping and eating habits into this equation. Or my credit card bill for that matter.
