see sam i TOLD you i would update!
sam and i went to BJ's to get muffins with her mom for the breakfast table. it was probably the best hour i've had in a very long time. Sam and i raced at the self-checkout to see who could finish scanning first, even though we were scanning the same stuff so no one could have one. We ran down the ending aisle riding the cart like we were 5 again, an age we usually act together. it was POURING, major downfall. Sam's mom made her go get the car and the idea of running in such heavy rain sounded like exactly what i wanted so i ran after her. the rain was too hard to carry the stuff out so her mom waited inside while we sat outside in the car. it was amazing, i have never felt so happy, and i don't even understand why. i watched the rain coming down on all the windows and reflect on the dashboard. i watched as the wind blew the water to make weird shapes as if a painting you'd find in a famous museum. we were surrounded by the sound and the water and it was making, it was like heaven. it just made me so happy with my life and content with everything going on. the fact that i was with sam in such a happy place made it even better. finally the rain ran out and we brought all the stuff in. the car ride home was spent making fun of each other's screams and fights with our parents, stories of bullying in earthquakes and screaming wet balls, and naming cars as animals. the fact that i have to be at school at 6:45 and that i have a thriving headache doesn't bother me at all where any other day it would make me so depressed. the fact that i haven't even started my homework and its almost mid-night doesn't bother me either. i just hope this good mood lasts.
