Well, it's already been a couple of weeks, but Quinn turned one year old on the 16th. I can't believe it. I also so clearly remember how awful I felt for so long a year ago. A few weeks ago, I purchased The Book of Delights by Ross Gay at the suggestion of brittdreams. It's a beautifully written book of daily essays - I LOVE daily musings and lyrical writing - and I have been reading an essay or two out loud whenever the mood strikes. They only take a few minutes, and usually spark additional conversation.

My wrist has been bothering me so much this week, feeling like a tendonitis flare-up, so I didn’t write entries for the last few days and wore a brace to give my wrist some rest.

This week is SGDQ, Summer Games Done Quick. GDQ does two charity 24/7 marathons per year, where people speed run games to earn money for Prevent Cancer Foundation (January) and Doctors Without Borders (June).
