why can't I give up on tom robbins!?

so... we randomly applied for an apartment today! rachel, the lady who was our doula, is moving out of her apartment and I want it so bad it burns. it's only 20 blocks away from where we're living now so the location is still pretty sweet. it's $70 more a month but I think we'll be okay. it has a basement with a washer and dryer and a work desk so chris can do his thing down there instead of the living room. it has hardwood floors, TONS of natural light, something our current place severely lacks. it's got a fireplace, better layout and best of all, there is no one above or below us!!! there's even a little composting spot and garden boxes in the front! oh and I guess a baby was born in the bathroom a few days ago. that is some good business right there, you figure that over rules anything terrible that might have happened.

I really, really hope we get this place. espcially since your neighbor is getting more and more sketchtastic by the day. :| I swear this dude sells meth.

I finally finished registering for my classes. I'm starting to get kinda nervous. for the last 3 months I've done nothing but stay with elliot. it'll be nice to be on some sort of schedule again but I've been enjoying no responsibility. oh well, it's for the greater good. I realized I don't think I would mind being a stay at home mom if we could afford it. that's not something I ever previously would have guessed for myself.

I thought I had more to say but I'm just getting sort of braindead. elliot has stopped napping during the day. really hoping it's just a phase. that was my nap time too :(
