All baby stuff lay by's paid off? Check.
Delivery organised for tomorrow? Check.
Project "Nest" will commence tomorrow.
After tomorrow, I think I am all set in regard to baby stuff. Yesterday I thought I was a genius buying a bulk box of 108 newborn nappies. Part of me thought nappy buying at this point may be a little premature but I did it anyway. Jnr then started telling me how her dads girlfriend bought boxes of nappies like those before HER baby was born. Out of interest I asked her "So, how many boxes like this did Cath have before the baby was born?"
Her reply? "Oh, 5 or 6"
5 or 6 boxes of 108 nappies??? Thats like... 648 nappies O_O
Got home, and after doing some research I found out that on average, newborns go through about 60 nappies a WEEK. That means my solitary box of nappies is going to last oh, about a week and a half. I dont know whats more concerning, the fact that these boxes are $37 each OR that we are going to have to CHANGE that many nappies every week.
