Luke in Perth for the weekend to do gigs = me being able to drown myself in all things baby! I am almost 30 weeks now so all of a sudden I am thinking "Oh dear god there is 10 weeks to GO, I must get things organised". Today I went and picked up one lay by (super amazing comfy rocker chair for me + little rocker for bub) so I am about to go assemble my chair and unpack the babys rocker.
Then I think I will spend the rest of the day taking the tags off all the baby clothes, unpacking singlets and socks, washing them ALL then thoughfully folding them away into the baby room drawers. Thats after I systematically remove everything else from the room, as over the last few weeks that room has become the designated dumping ground for anything that doesnt have a home.
Might take some pictures. Dont know why, but I might.
I desperately need a cup of tea after all this lol
baby room before: (omg disaster area)
My collection of baby gear., sitting in piles on top of my overstuffed craft drawers. That funky looking quilt sitting on the box at the bottom of the picture is my own baby quilt that mum used with me.

Same room after an hour or two. Chair was really easy to assemble. Even easier to SIT IN lol
Most of that baby gear is now washed and put away in the drawers. There was a pile of linen I had totally forgotten about and they are being washed now. I might need bigger drawers :/ (Oh and Lukes amp will not be staying in the room. I just cant be stuffed moving it more than a foot)
The (almost) 30 week belly shot. I cant see much difference between this photo and the last one, though bub has dropped down a few inches.
Aaand one more, mostly for Lisa if anyone cares to pass this on. I found a(nother) baby blanket pattern online and its so easy its almost a joke. The entire pattern has 4 rows to it and only ONE of those rows is remotely pattern-ish. The other 3 are just knit rows and one purl row. I dont know how or why, but it curls up all by itself (O.O). I did NOT make it wavy at all - thats just how it comes out. Weird but utterly fantastic.
