Morgause was badass. Not only as a warrior, but in her magical castle. My only beef is how could Morgana have a memory of her when Morgause is definitely older than her? Yay Morgana for actually getting a little something to do this episode btw.
So was that actually Igraine or was it an illusion? I'd like to believe it was real. Although I'm confused because of Merlin's "it was an illusion!" speech (sidenote: before Merlin comes bursting into the hall, they show him running up from the dungeons - why was he down there, unless he was asking the Slash Dragon for help? if that was the case, did they cut that scene out?) seemed to kind of come out of nowhere; I mean it made sense but I feel the motivation for it seemed missing (see point about possible cut scene).
What else to add? I highly enjoyed this episode. Well done Merlin, well done.
