(no subject)
Mom came and went, and we had a blast. We spent some time here on the Island, walked all around Winslow, did the Underground tour and some serious shopping in Seattle, then topped it off with a delicious dinner with some of my pals. I was glad to see her, and show her my life. It all felt very adult.
Although, with last week being a teaching week, and last weekend being birthday madness, and Mom being here the past few days, I've managed to ignore all responsibilities in my world. My list is a mile long, and I'm completely unmotivated to shorten it. The weather is absolutely gorgeous, which makes staying inside reading for Non-Profit Administration all the less enticing.
Oh well. That's life, I suppose.
I've got water boiling for some pasta yumminess, then I'm off to campus to shadow Alison, as I'm hosting next week! (None of you know what that means, but suffice it to say it's pretty scary.)
2 weeks until Brian comes.
Holy smokes - less than 6 weeks until SMA.
