it's like... mmmagic.
Somehow, without anyone really realizing it, the quarter has drawn to a close, and our last round of classes is eminent. Tomorrow we present our Visionary Schools Projects, and Friday is our last day of Science Methods and Environmental Ed. Then, we get two weeks of no classes (thank you, University of Washington schedule). I'm teaching next week, but then catching an 8am flight on Friday morning down to Los Angeles. I'm so psyched about seeing my aunts and uncles and cousins, and spending some quality lounging time in the sunshine. Part of me wishes that I hadn't already booked plans for this time, and that I could head East to see my parents and some friends, but such is life.
The past few days I've been running with a slightly different social circle, and although it's been fun, it's been exhausting. I've gone to bed past midnight the past FOUR nights, which is just insane for me. I'll be happy when the cohorts switch and I'm back on the same schedule with my pals.
Seeing Brett Dennen in concert on Sunday, which should be awesome. I'm also planning on doing some serious thrift store shopping that day, although goodness knows what I'll do with my wares during the concert. Hrm. Perhaps it's not meant to be.
I'm in a mood tonight - I should probably head to sleep before I consider it too heavily and end up wishing I hadn't. :0)
