Another one of those pointless 5 Question Memes

Aug 21, 2010 18:06

These were asked by lunapitty. Sorry Luna, I was in a posting funk until...now.

If you would like to play, just comment and say something to the effect of "ask me 5 questions". :)

1. If you were given unlimited funds to open a business, what sort of business would you open and why?

Ohhhhhh boy, the potential that would have! I'd really like to open a huge private zoo with breeding programmes for every endangered species out there. That would need a lot of land, but hey, unlimited funds right? Also, why stop at one? I'd also open a hospital chain which gave free care to anybody who needed it. And free private schools. Wait, these are all more like charities or non-profits...

If talking about financial gain, you'd have to offer me something a bit less so I still have to make it at least somewhat profitable, a few million dollars for instance. In that case, I'd like to open a huge chain of chocolate and candy themed cafes. :)

2. Look to your right. What's there right now?

A bed. On it is an MP3 player, a cellphone, and some clothes. On my computer desk to the right is a New Zealand tourist guide, a CD, a rainbow spring being used as a pen holder and a magazine about franchising I bought for research into the "business" thing. I'm not a very tidy person. :D

3. What was your first pet? What did you name it and how did you get it?

Probably some goldfish that my mother bought for me at a street vendor in Beijing when I was very young. I was a careless kid and killed them. :(

4. If you got to meet Sayuri Katayama in person, what would you do? (;3)

Wow...that's a tough one. I'd probably be all nervous and flustered about meeting a huge celebrity! ...Sort of. :) Then I'd somehow work up the courage to say: "Hi, I loved your performance in the Sailor Stars musical...". All the while wondering whether she really wants to be remembered for that.

5. Do you ever get the feeling that you might have been born in the wrong era?

Wrong era, no. Living in the wrong country right now, yes. Nothing majorly wrong with it, it just has a totally different language, culture, and ways of thinking than where I came from. Sometimes I think about going back to China, but I probably wouldn't fit in there at all anymore.
