Title: Time of the Month
Characters: Hungary, mentions of Prussia
Challenge: Prompt: Anniversary
Bonus Words: promise, loss, gain, time
Rating: T because it is totally fitting for Hungary. Be mature, kids.
Summary: Hungary remembers the 1st time she got her period. She didn’t want to admit she was a girl.

She promised she would never let Prussia know about what happened. Ever.

She blushed about it every time she thought about it, or got it every month, but she couldn’t help it, knowing that his assumptions about her…him were right.

Hungary…was, in fact, a…girl?

He…she couldn’t believe it. He, uh, she was supposed to grow a weiner-winnie thing when he, er, she became an adult. Instead, what the Hungarian got was blood that came out of her damn vagina.

She really did have that ‘you-know-what’ Prussia had mentioned. She understood his shock now. But nothing would be more embarrassing than having him find out. No way! The loss of her manliness would surely make him feel far more superior than he already felt and she didn’t want that.

Oh, great…she was addressing herself as a girl, again. Hungary had accepted the blood that lasted a few days, but after it happened every month for so many years, she was growing tired of it all. It was going to be a century since she hit puberty and was actually looking forward to menopause. She’d rather get wrinkles than go through this, but she couldn’t do anything about it. However, she was a fighter and had to regain her composure so that damn Prussia and jive Turkey wouldn’t think she was weak. After all, during that time of the month, she could kick ass a lot more than usual.

A/N: I had to do this. It was either torturing her or torturing me with this idea. But Hungary’s strong. :D

Title: The Day Our Names Were United by a Dash
Characters: Austria, Hungary, Italy, Prussia
Challenge: Prompt: Anniversary
Bonus Words: promise, loss, gain, time
Rating: T
Summary: Austria and Hungary celebrate their anniversary. They just keep getting interrupted.

Austria furrowed his eyebrows as his irritation grew.

Okay, so he was trying to have a good time with his wife in their home, but so many interruptions were going on. Why couldn’t he enjoy his anniversary in peace? Just this once!

Whenever he tried kissing Hungary and seducing her, promising her that she would enjoy that night with a single motion of his iips, Italy would knock on the door.

“Mr. Austria, I cannot find Ms. Hungary!” the Italian would say through the other side of the door. The boy was not aware of the romantic scene that was trying to proceed, so he kept shouting for Austria and Hungary to come out.

Austria was thinking that Italy would gain a thing or two (meaning he’d get two bruises so he would shut up for one damn night) when he and Hungary would finish, if they ever got to finish.

“Are you not going to have dinner, sir?” Italy asked a few minutes later. “Because I’m hungry and I can’t find the ingredients to make pasta.”

Then, ugh, Prussia had to come.

“Your fital regions are acting veird, again,” Prussia said as Austria let him in. He and Hungary had given up on their intimate moment a few moments prior to his arrival.

“Well, then, give them back, mein freund*,” Austria suggested, but Prussia just suggested that he’d straighten that out or else had cause another fight, one worse than last time.

Austria just kept thinking that he’d anticipate the Prussian’s loss when his wife would fight him.

Hungary noticed her husband’s irritation. She remembered their wedding day and realized he wasn’t looking like himself. Maybe she should remind him about the day that dash united their names.

For him, she would find the most isolated corner of the Holy Roman Empire so they could enjoy this special day in peace.

A/N: I don’t care whether they were married or not while Italy was little! I still wanted him to be there! And Prussia…yeah, it wouldn’t be an HRE pack story without him.

* - I think that’s ‘my friend’ in German, but I could be wrong. I did want to write what Austria told Germany (mon fren, I think, but I’m writing it like I heard it), but there was no Austrian translation in Google Translate, so yeah. I hope you enjoyed!
