I need to lose weight. I've been gaining weight each year since I left college -- not huge amounts, mind you, just small increments, but they've been accruing steadily and I don't want this to continue. Turns out I do not have a compressed disc! The doctor I saw today thinks that the pain I've been experiencing probably resulted from a pinched nerve in my spine, combined with the muscle strain I have that still hasn't quite healed. The pain has certainly lessened the last few days, so! Am still not back to normal, but am doing much better ( Read more... )

Spent most of yesterday at the hospital, waiting; waiting to be seen at the ER, waiting to be seen by doctors, waiting for my prescriptions to be ready.
