Life Updates
Goodness, it's been a while. Even for me.
Work
I felt reluctant to post right away about the new job, worried that I might end up jinxing myself. But now that the first two weeks have gone off pretty much hitch-free, I feel safe in saying that I think it's a good job. The part-time schedule I'm working hasn't been having a real negative impact on my classes or my sleep. As long as I continue to budget my time well, I should be fine. And then next quarter I'll perhaps be working an even better schedule.
Class
I can hardly believe the quarter's almost over! I know Winter Quarter's only 1 week shorter than Spring, but it feels like a lot more. It actually makes me kind of sad; I really like my Human Sexuality class, I don't want it to be over already! Ack, gotta register for next quarter soon... and we're Not Thinking about finals yet.
Games
Just over 31 hours into now; levelling and catching up on Marks before I go searching for that Sword. My opinion of the game has improved quite a bit since I first posted about it. The main characters have been developed better, and I actually care about them now (yay!), and the story actually appears to be going places, which pleases me greatly. (Also, Al-Cid totally got lost on his way to a casting call for the next Shadow Hearts, Y/N?) And the battle/gambit/license system is made of win. I approve.
Also, making slow but steady progress on the million roses in Katamari. Almost halfway there! *airfist*
Anime
OMGYAY BLEACH DOESN'T SUCK ANYMORE. They are off the filler arc at last and life is good again. Death Note continues to be interesting (and gorgeous), and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni continues to freak the crap outta me and yet I keep watching WHY
Art
Now that the most recent round of yaoi_challenge is over (I hope to be posting my submissions shortly) I have some downtime to draw things for myself; mainly art for the First Time Gamer's Club and for the Hogwarts RPG casaval is developing. Also, zinjadu and I have been officially accepted for 20_inkspots, so hopefully I'll get started on that soon as well. I would like to post art in this journal more often, I'm just... lazy. >_>
