It has to be said that last night's ep of DW got a spontaneous round of applause in this house.
Actual science fiction! A companion with brains! (and not, as Colonel K put it "yet another brainless totty in luuuurvvve with the Doctor") Something original!
Stephen, you da man! WoOt!
I can even look past the retro 50's styling for Starship UK and the curious echoes of other DW incarnations (Delta and the Banner-men?) because it was GOOD!
Finally we have something worth watching on the box!
And 11 may just do it, which is a stunning achievement for so young an actor.
