That sounds all kinds of horrifying.

I can't even get a regular lame-o one inch IV inserted without a vein blowing or blood spurting everywhere, I have no idea how you managed to have a tube inserted through your whole arm without bleeding out all over the place.

Hopefully, you go this month and feel better and then it's all over with. Sounds like a bitch, but if it means not being in pain all the time, it'll be worth it in the end.

Yeah, the nurse that did it put garbage bags down all over the floor first. And I was like WAIT A MINUTE. HOW MUCH AM I GONNA FUCKING BLEED HERE ( ... )

Were the garbage bags really necessary? If anything, that would make me even more tense and nervous and that doesn't make starting an IV an easier. Crazy.

This whole thing just seems like the suck.

And, really, as much as I love my mother, I wouldn't let her bathe me. Hah. She was in the delivery room with me, which was weird enough. But that's different. When you're about to push a baby out of your body, you just don't really care. "Oh, you wanna stick your hands into my cervix? GO FOR IT!" If I weren't full of hormones and pain meds, I doubt I would want my mother seeing me naked. Or even close to naked.

EXACTLY! I love my mom but yeah. I'm 24 years old now. I don't want my momma seeing my naked! But I'm scared about the arm! And while I don't care about using deodorant, I'm not getting dirty cause I'm not leaving the house, I'm not getting sweaty cause I'm constantly cold, I worry about LOOKING filthy still!

The garbage bags were "just in case". Which yeah was like OMG JUST IN CASE I GUSH THAT MUCH!? WTF!? Which is why my mom called the dr. and was like SHE IS GOING TO NEED A XANAX PRESCRIPTION FOR ALL THIS!!!!

Yeah, hair gets nasty even if you aren't doing anything though. Have you ever used dry shampoo? I've heard it can seriously prolong the time you can go between shower-washing your hair. I haven't tried it, but I've heard good things and it's better than stripping your hair with regular shampoo anyway.

I don't care if it's just in case, garbage bags in the area are not very settling.

I want Xanax! I'm such a fucking anxiety ridden nutcase lately. I'm blaming it on the Mirena, because after having this damn thing inserted, I find all of these articles about how crazy it makes you. Depo made me crazy anyway, so it's not much of a change, I just wonder half the time if I'm normal crazy or hormone crazy and I don't like not knowing the difference.

Is it helping at all? I mean, besides putting you into a coma?

Ugh, I just used dry shampoo and no one even notices a difference! I didn't think about the damage being done to it with everything, ugh!

IUDs scare me! Like I've read and heard from people I know so many scare stories. I don't even think I could get it inserted that alone makes my whole body cringe.
I was on Nuvaring for a few months and it made my skin awful and I gained like 30 pounds! I eat super healthy and I USED to be able to exercise and I just keep gaining weight! Even off it, I'm still fat and my skins still awful and my clothes don't fit! I hate birth control and I fucking gave up.

Well then, I guess I won't be wasting my money on the dry shampoo idea. Everyone raves about that stuff, but I was really wondering how well it could work. Like, okay, maybe it'll take SOME of the grease off your hair, but there's no way it comes totally clean. Still, I would love to go a little longer between washes ( ... )

It didn't take ANY of the grease out! I came down and told my mom I had tried it and she goes, "Oh...I...didn't notice." BECAUSE YOU CAN'T ( ... )

I really can't imagine going for too long without a shower. Mainly for hair reasons. Maybe just have your mom wash your hair in the sink? I mean, then there's no naked so it's not quite as creepy ( ... )
