(no subject)
Okay, so right now I'm going to dribble on why I suck and will not be on the Internet much and hence cannotnwrite my own soulmate her birthday fic and beta this amazing AU by foreverlarrup (I don't even know your name, I suck, and I'm sorry)
Basically, I did not expect this to happen (kind of forgot it would, truthfully) so I kind of went on hiatus with a few projects still on hand. Right. Where to start?
Erm, okay. This past month, and late July too, was Ramadan, which was fasting month for us Muslims. We're supposed to be good and pure and all that, but the thing is, I cannot stay away from fanfiction. Deviating from point. Okay. Anyway, we're actually kind of obliged to go to the mosque like every night, and hold our prayers, which are special because of Ramadan, and they can last up to three hours- sucks more because my school decided tests every week are fun, I think I failed some (tests), ughhhh. Hence, I've done very little writing, and any that were published or actually completed are extremely shitty because they're rushed.
Okay, so that is like Part One. Part Two of why I'm not on the Internet and cannot write/beta (again, I'm really sorry foreverlarrup!!!!!11):
After Ramadan, it's Hari Raya for us Muslims/Malays (I can't actually discern the difference here). Many of you probably have never even heard of it before, but it's kind of like our version of Christmas? Yep. So of course, my mum can't help but drag her eldest daughter to join her in a chorus of ironing and laundering and cleaning and oh god I spent like three-quarters of an our ironing cushion covers, do you know how much I hate my life
(I spent three hours plus alone cleaning my room, I am a slob, ngl)
So. I really really suck, and after springcleaning, I still have to visit houses and play nice to people I don't like (what am I talking about, I don't like people at all) and this will go on for about a month.
I'm really, really sorry!
