Faint, but pursuing...

I may be starting to see progress. Home (tm) is now staying on-track in the order stakes. This week I've begun to catch up on Work (tm). What does this mean? I'm not getting further behind, mostly.

Today was a 5 coffee, aspirin, nap, mersyndol forte day. But hey, I did manage to work this afternoon - although some of my clients were ill and had to cancel. The irony is not lost on me.
Considering I began the day unable to read, spell or write, I am pulling up surprisingly well. It was too wierd when my pen jumped out of my hand this morning, but at least it warned me that *something* was up. Then there was saying "walnut juice" when I meant "watermelon juice" (twice) and also failing to spell "Donna Leon" on three separate attempts. Call me observant, but at that point I realised that absence of pain notwithstanding, I probably DID have a migraine coming on. Hence remediation 101.

I am passionately in love with my iPhone. Not because it is a gadget and new and shiny and sexy - well, I like those things about it, but I don't love it for that. I love it the way you love a hammer when you need to hit a nail, or the way I felt the first time I used a Swiffer - this is THE tool for this job, and my life is being made a small but noticeable bit better.

And, I have loaded a new App onto it - for around $8 you can get a "keyboard" that plays on your iPhone. You can actually record multi-tracks with it, using realistically sampled sounds. But the best, best, best bit is... the people who make it are called "Moo Cow Music". Seriously.

iphone, stuff, migraine
