(no subject)
Yet another day without a headache. Hooray for me.
Bit tired due to 4 hours of choir today. (I hope the lovely Ms M is enjoying her family festivication.) Enjoyed the singing, but it did remind me why I don't usually do this at the moment. Was having trouble reading the notes at the end, as my vision deteriorates as I get tired. My voice was in pretty good form as I have been 'resting' for some time.
DrMizVic made me go shopping today. Honestly. She made me. My ultra-emergency credit card is feeling wonky. There was this tunic/dress thingy in a soft knit in just the right greeny-blue. So I had to. Even Hubby agreed when I got home and did the fashion-parade thing. And DrMizVic did find a little something ravishing for herself.
I used my Shopping-Fairy mojo on a couple of other ladies who were also perusing. The shop owner mentioned that I am a great example of her wares. Got me thinking that 1 day per week as a sales assistant in a good shop like that one could be rather fun. Not desperately lucrative, but fun and satisfying. Trying on stuff is so much better when there's someone on hand to find attractive stuff for you and tell you the truth, but emphasizing the nice truth. (Most women can see a hint of negative truth in the pitch black with their eyes bound in duct tape.)
Am thoroughly enjoying having an au naturelle arm. It does ache a bit as the muscles are suddenly being asked to work, and support their own weight. Lazy sods. I even ache slightly down my right side, as I have not been stretching my arm up for the last 6 months and they have shortened. It argues for the holisticness of our bodies. A major break affects everything, not just the limb that is the locus.
