Just posting this to anyone who knew Emily or Aaron via PCC, Facebook, Myspace, PCCBOARD, etc... Hope it helps as we keep Emily and little Bethanne and family in our prayers!!
Aaron Jason Lawson, 35, of Warren, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, in his home. He was born Aug. 14, 1973, in Farmington Hills.
Mr. Lawson was employed by William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He umpired for the city of Warren Little League in 2006 and 2007 where his honesty made him many friends, his family said.
He and his wife, Emily and daughter were involved at members of Faith Baptist Church where he worked and preached to the youth. He was a big sports fan, from the Detroit Tigers to Jimmie Johnson and NASCAR.
His pride and joy was his 7-year-old daughter, Bethanne, who became his nurse during his recent illness. He and Emily married Dec. 18, 1999, in Warren. A 1991 graduate of Hazel Park High School, he attended Pensacola Christian College from 1991-96.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his wife, Emily Beth Lawson; daughter, Bethanne Grace Lawson; parents, Nolan and Karen Lawson; brothers, Timothy Donald and Scott Allen Lawson; sisters, Cheri Lynn Allen and Kim Diane Szelepski; and parents-in-law, David and Janet Arnold.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Faith Baptist Church, 26510 Schoenherr (south of I-696), Warren, with the Rev. Martin Marriott, pastor, officiating.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Wednesday and 1-9 p.m. Thursday at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic), Warren. Additional visitation is 9:30-10 a.m. Friday at the church.
