First thoughts
For some reason I awoke very early this morning. When I opened my eyes I was facing east. I have a window along that wall and nothing that realy blocks it. I can see quite far and I can watch the sun come up. This morning it was like fire. Intense orange and red. Helios had not quite cleared the earth, but it was so bright, so raw looking that all I could see and think was fire. Now the sun is risen. Birds are chirping and people are doing people stuff. The primeval energy has faded and the world is tame again, at least on the surface.
