Disaster in the kitchen
I am getting my audition tape recorded tomorrow. I am so happy. I’ve been practicing like crazy. Well, not really. At least 30 minutes a day though. My teacher got the recording arranged for me. I am so thankful. She saved my booty.
I made pumpkin pie last night. It was disaster in the kitchen. But now there is this almost perfect pumpkin pie sitting in our kitchen ready to be taken to Thanksgiving dinner. It looks beautiful but while i was pouring the batter into the pastry shell, I noticed that I had not mixed the ingredients enough. There were some lumps of cinnamon and nutmeg still. Oops.
I love Thanksgiving so much, mostly because of the food. It is the only time (besides Christmas) that I get to eat such good food. I vow to do tae bo at least twice before vacation is over.
I’ve finished my college essay finally. I think my English teacher let me pass because on my 2nd draft, she didn't write any comments or anything. So I guess I’m done with that. I’m sending out my applications on Saturday.
My family is watching West Side Story on DVD right now. I’m just padding around on the Internet. I think maybe I’ll clean my room now but I’m so tired. My dad is taking me shopping to get a new computer this weekend. I’m so excited!
We’re leaving for Thanksgiving dinner at 6. Yum, yum. Can’t wait.
