As I sit here, thinking about what to write and how to write it, I realize that I've changed. Since a year and a month ago when I abandoned my introspective self, gave it up for everything I wanted to do rather than analyzing everything I could do, I've definitely changed (for one thing, I can spell "definitely" without having to spell check it).

I hate all these edited photocopies of speeches and interviews, intertwined to load me up with one particular viewpoint so by the end I'm either going "I'M FURIOUS ABOUT THIS" or I'm going "wow, that's intelligent." Why can’t I focus?

I can’t read anything, I can’t watch anything. I feel like I’m supposed to be doing something important and special and not sitting in my bed. Let’s face it, I definitely do not want to be sitting here when the clock strikes twelve. I don’t want to look at the clock and go "oh, it’s 12:02. I’ve been 21 for two minutes.
