Is it Monday yeeeeet?
Gah I'm dying!!! I woke up with a migraine and all I wanna do all day is go see friggin' POTC:DMC I'm trying so hard to be good. We went to the comic shop's moving sale and I was such a good girl. They had the Sin City lighters I wanted 30% off and I didn't buy them. I did find Brooks had got in OCT (Occult Crimes Taskforce) and it's fucking AWESOME!!! If you like the occult and comics and/or Rosario Dawson it's a must buy. So well drawn! I was kinda expecting to be dissapointed and it's like twice as good as I had hoped it would be. Well worth my $3 splurge.
Trouble is Monkey went to the inlaws today and he was taken to McD's and came home with his POTC toy. *squee* So I was looking at the ones offered and I HAVE to have the little Jack Sparrow plushy. I will beg/borrow/steal to get one! It's so friggin' cyooot! Sooo with that in mind naboo_jedi you have been officially recruited into helping me. I know you have a better chance of getting one than me so I will tell you know I'm willing to pay shipping if you can snag me one! Or if it'd be better I just beg for a set or something... whatever. :p If you can't it's cool. ;) I know how annoying it is when people assume that because you work somewhere you can just get all the goodies free.
I'm still feeling kinda depressed. I cried myself to sleep last night. I'm so aggravated with my mom and that situation. My hands are tied and when I try to just rant to Jaundice about it he does the typical man thing and tries to "fix" it by telling me my mom is stupid and it's her own fault. Everyone who commented to my entry last night made some great points about the situation. Thank god for all you smart women being in my life. Dunno what I'd do without your input sometimes. I know I don't say it half as much as I should but thank you all for being part of my life even if it's only through this world within worlds that is the internet. I gotta say I've met some of the best people in the world here. Okay and some weirdos too. lol but for the most part good. ;D
On a random sidenote... I need to be reminded that Pirateology is being released on Teusday and even if I have to skip paying one of the bills and make it up next months I need to buy this for Monkey! These are his favorite books and we're still behind. We need Egyptology too! Bah well anyway. My eyes won't stay dry and my headache is killing me. Gonna go turn the A/C off and open windows to get some fresh air and see if that helps a little.
