Shortly after waking up today, I got a call from my mother telling me my grandmother died around lunchtime today.  I am not good.  The shock and breakdowns have passed, and the reality has set in, bringing about a state of partial numbness.  The numbness is probably a good thing right now--I don't need another "break with reality, shrieking, crying ( Read more... )
