A question of discrete virtues
...needs to be asked, those that need not concern others, just be kept to one´s self. Honesty, loyalty, honor, purpose, are just some I can think of at this moment. What need is it that it be known to others? What purpose would that serve? Mere vanity makes us wave it around like a banner for all to see. Screaming ¨look at me!!!¨ I am virtuous, what are you? What a pompus ass!!!
What ignorance!!
Is it not enought to ¨be¨ and not be seen, to have and not to herald? What manner of virtue is it if it is merely for display? It sickens me, makes me revile those people little by shrill speaking little, the more they say of their virtures the more I don´t belive them. Let it be known by actionas, let those that need to know see it, not hear it from the asse´s mouth, let it come in whispers from the darness of the crowd. Let the wise know, and the foolish never prosper.
