Here's some advice (not that you asked).

1 kitty = 1 box
2 kitties = 2 boxes
3 kitties = 3 boxes (you get the drift).

1 floor on your house = 1 box
2 floors on your house = 2 boxes (seeing a theme?)

So two cats in a one story house = 2 boxes
one cat in a two story house = 2 boxes
two cats in a two story house = at least 2 or 3 boxes, strategically placed.

Cat Attract is a nifty kind of scoopable cat litter that helps with such "issues". Dont put a "ton" of litter in the box. Some cats sink into the litter and that bothers them. 1" should do ya, and change as frequently as you can. (this said with chagrin as I am lousy at this, personally).

Patience ... and best wishes babe.

Ya I know about the additional boxes. Although the 1" rule is new to me, thanks. =D

What I could really use is advice on how to get the amonia smell out of the fireplace. Baking soda scrub?

Nature's Miracle might help, or a cleaner with orange oil in it. Don't quote me on the orange oil, all I know is that it's powerful stuff.
