Hello, raccoons. I know you don't mean to scare me with your beady yellow eyes that glow like the devil.
- Psych :)

Things have been awesome lately. I have one week of school left, and then I will be a college graduate, with two bachelor degrees.
Mom suggested a graduate party, which I've been so busy finishing school that I haven't even considered. But now that I think about it, Mom did a lot for graduation from high school. Ian's grad party was really fun. And now, a college graduation!
Mom suggested the Library in Pittsburgh - its a bar that Wes and I found and really love, and Mom has been listening to my stories! I love Mom. She wants to rent out the top room of the Library for Saturday night and everyone will come up for a party. I really hope she does plan that and it happens, it would be really amazing. I don't want Mom to stress about it though. But I hope it happens. I will be really busy trying to finish up graduation stuff - the Honors college is being ridiculous, I don't know what to do about my cap and gown... its a mess. I wish I could anticipate my graduation and enjoy it, but I have so much to do that that is what I'm concentrating on. Graduation snuck up on me.

[[[Today it is December 3rd, 6 minutes to midnight. Tomorrow is December 4, and what would have been my and Justin's 3 year anniversary. It is also Jerry's birthday (my roommate KP's ex that she isn't over) and Scott's birthday (my second roommate Stacy's ex-fiance that she is having a really tough time getting past). I have been looking forward to this day, just so the day can be over - anniversary-wise, anyway.]]]

As to what the day will actually bring, I'm going to have a lot of fun! I took off from work, and Dad will be here at 11 am. The football game is at noon, and Dad Wes and I are going to it. After the game I think we are all going over to Wes' and cooking out - I invited the roommates (I doubt they'll show, but they're at least invited), and Emily is going to come.
Sidebar about Emily - Wes and I went shopping at the mall in Charleston in Bath and Bodyworks, and they had a huge sale going on. We bought shower gel (oak and vanilla bean noel, respectively) and a lip gloss. Wes smelled the vanilla bean noel and loved it, and when the woman said "we have a lip gloss" he sputtered and formed half-questions, til the woman smiled a bit and said "it tastes like it smells." He grabbed a tube and declared "she's getting this!" and put it in the cart. When we bought 3 things we were allowed 3 for free, so Wes and I picked out Twilight Woods for Emily and got her the gift set - shower gel, body lotion, and body spray in a purple foil wrap, tied with a ribbon.

Wes was at my place on Wednesday, and in the morning we were laughing and playing and he picked me up, piggyback. We had to brush our teeth, but Wes wouldn't put me down. He would lean to the side to let me pick up my toothbrush, then was holding my legs and trying to put toothpaste on the brushes at the same time. Then we brushed our teeth, but we were laughing and giggling so hard it was next to impossible. Micah (Stacy's boyfriend) walked past the bathroom and said something along the lines of "as if brushing teeth wasn't awkward enough." Teeth still got clean though! It was really fun :).

Lat night I stayed over at Wes'. I was sleeping on his chest, and around 3:30 in the morning (the witching hour. oh yes, i noticed.) I woke him up, and said "open your eyes" when he groggily came around. He did, and I said "ok" and went to go back to sleep. When he said wait a minute and asked me why, I had to say "I, I had a dream you were a zombie." We had watched Walking Dead right before we went to sleep. When I woke up from the dream I went to scoot closer to Wes for comfort, but he was the one that was a zombie in the dream - so I had to check that his eyes were still hazel and not zombie-gray. It was much more real at 3:30 a.m.
In the morning he said "you know, some men would be mad if their girlfriends woke them up to check that they were still human." But, he said he was flattered instead and thought himself lucky that his gf had such an interest in zombie safety.

Time to get some sleep so I can really enjoy the game and cookout tomorrow :).
