this morning i woke up, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and felt refreshed.
i like my pjs so i didnt change.
i came downstairs and got a cup of coffee, then sat on the front stoop reading with a cup of coffee in my pjs and felt that all was right.
a meter reader man was across the street and said hello. he said he had come over to visit his two gilfriends: macy and amber.
i said they're out back if you want to say hello.
he says "oh, i already gave them their biscuits today".
what a cute little old man! he came over and said hello to them again before he left the neighborhood. he keeps dog biscuits in his pockets.
i love working at hallmark! its an adorable little story, i get to help people pick out the perfect card for people they care about, if its slow i can always go and read the cards and find perfect ones for everybody (or you know, spend three hours cataloging discontinued cards, counting up the prices). I really really like it. but i dont get to work there again for forever!!!! chels is working saturday and monday. hmmph. i wish they had more hours available in the summer.
i still want to have my birthday dinner and girls night with katie and isha, i miss those two so much.
im going to be an adult about solving my deep dilemma, and i feel good about that.
i had a dream the other night where i met my new roommate. we lived in a hotel, not a dorm, and it was called the Lincoln. There were people everywhere in the hallways, having hall meetings. Oh and that roommate? Total bitch, bitch with a B. I told some other girl about her, and said
"its like you're walking down the street and you're having a good day, you're waving to everyone, 'hey, how you doing!' having a grand old sunny time, and then CRASH! you run into a light pole and now you have a large purple bruise on your forehead and a splitting headache and my word what if I have a concussion? and now the sunny sun aggravates your migraine and you can't think straight and you stumble a mite and sink down to the ground and feel nauseated."
I acted this all out, then realized that there was an RA standing behind me looking incredulous as I mimed walking into a pole and feeling delirious and complaining about my roommate. then he changed into an older man real fast who turned out to belong to the drama department and so it was a fortuitous happenstance.
i leave for the beach today!
