Stage Name (if any): not really a stage name but goes by his nickname “Kon”, which he claims stands for “King of New York” instead of being an alternate form of ‘Con’ which looks very negative.
Personality:
Boisterous, obnoxious and perverted are three adjectives that come to mind when most people first meet Conner “Kon” Dietrich on the set. Masochistic would be the fourth when they see just what sort of stunts he is willing to perform (and occasionally land him in the medical ward). But when he’s healthy and out and about, he can be found in the local bars chatting up the girls in hopes of getting lucky.
He does have his more serious side, however, especially in regards to life. He views all as equal, including animals (the reason for why he turned vegan at the age of 10 after watching fish being gutted at the market). He is quick to forget grudges but he will not hold back from smacking someone around if he believes them to be wrong.
But Kon is a very happy-go-lucky man, more or less, who doesn’t mind getting smacked around in the name of creating exciting action sequences.
History:
Kon is a very optimistic young man from New York City who landed a job at Karakura Productions due to family connections. Believing that he is a man made more for action than for words, he spends his work days as a stunt man on the set and as the occasional extra in group scenes.
When Isshin Kurosaki’s son Ichigo Kurosaki, became older, the director noticed just how similar the two looked and made Kon his stunt double (much to Ichigo’s chagrin especially when people get them confused on the street when Kon’s out skirt chasing)
His grandparents who told him first-person accounts of the Holocaust when he was young molded his viewpoints on life. After thinking about the subject for a very long time in his youth, he decided that no one had the right to take another one’s life.
