(no subject)
Well, I didn't want to count my chickens. You know. Hatching may not occur.
But I guess it's about time that I post a little update on my life lately, and whatnot! So here goes:
First of all, because I'm sure I won't see you online in time, Happy Birthday kingofallporn :) I hope you have a wonderful day and that everything is perfect. Even if it's just for the day.
Work's been great, really... I enjoy both my job, and the people I work with - for the most part. ;) My supervisor plays favourtes which is a new concept to me. But who am I to argue? *chuckle* I just try not to take advantage of it. We had our work Christmas Party last Saturday - I took the most wonderful man as my date. I shouldn't really call it a Party, because it was more like 'Dinner at a nice restaurant'. Either way it was awesome. It was the perfect evening. With perfect people.
Which brings me to my "date" for the evening.
Chris made it clear that he wasn't interested in a relationship, so I let things be. I refuse to attempt to convince someone that they want to be with me. Why bother? It was all for the best anyway. But that meant that there was no way that he'd be accompanying me to my Christmas Party. The weekend before, I gave into a blind date of sorts - and met C.
He's wonderful. He makes my heart beat fast every time I see him. I miss him like crazy every time I go home (so I try to do that as little as possible). He makes me feel like the world revolves around me (even if he doesn't mean to) - and to be honest, my world revolves around him right now. I never expected this, but I'm not going to question it. It just feels right, the rest we'll just have to take our time and see about. I'll post some pictures soon - as soon as we get the ones back from the Christmas Party. :) He was looking even sexier than usual.
Anyway, I have 2 more loads of laundry to do tonight, so I'd better go finish that. Or I won't have any clean clothes. (eww?)
