From My Really Old Cookbook!

Here's the recipe right out of the book. It's a NON-YEASTED cinamon roll. I assure you this took me about 5 minutes to make.
Recipe traslated:
2 1/2 c flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c sugar
2 tblsp cold butter
1 egg
1 c milk
3/4 c raisins
2 tblsp sugar
2 tblsp cinnamon

combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly, add egg, beaten, and milk and mix. Batter will be sticky. Turn into floured surface and roll as for jelly roll (I pressed it into shape with my floured fingers). Sprinkle with raisins and roll like a jelly roll (I sprinkled mine with cinnamon and sugar. I think that cinnamon and brown sugar would also be good). Slice into 1 in rounds and place in a greased pan. Sprinkle w/ sugar and cinnamon mix. Back @ 400 for 15-20 minutes. (when it was done, I drizzled with a thin frosting. My recipe wasn't so good, so you'll wanna find you're own if you want it)

These come out more dense than normal rolls. I imagine that if you use the raisins it would be like little raisin bread rolls. They were really good. I'll be making these again!
