I'm back home from visiting Viktoria. As predicted it was awesometimes.
I came to Östersund at around 10 pm, and was picked up by Viktoria and her Dad. They live a bit outside of Östersund you see. We didn't do much more than talk the first evening.
The next day Viktoria had a couple of packages to send, so we walked down to the gas station in the spring weather = gooey shoes, haha. We then made a delicious Japan-nostalgic dinner because I had found some ゴールデンカレー (Golden Curry) sauce mix in a Japanese import shop in London that I brought with me. It was delicious! Tasted just like the curry we had in Japan. And then we popped some popcorn and watched Jurassic Park in the evening.
On Friday we went into town around noon/afternoon. And finally got to eat
langos! We had been planning it since last summer - when whenever we tried to get a taste of it everywhere was out of it. So yeah, it felt pretty great to finally get to try it. And it was very good!
After that we did some shopping. Östersund has pretty nice stores, and some that we don't have in Umeå so I had fun looking around. I ended up buying this really nice leather jacket at BikBok! Oh, it is lovely, and a size S!!! But it fits perfectly, there's a photo of me in it under the cut.
Later in the evening it was party times. We went to Sara's place to hang out before going to a club. Sara went to the same high school as Viktoria, they are fans of the same Japanese band (
Dir en grey) and she also went to Japan at the same time as us incidentally so I got to meet her when we were there. So... we ended up talking alot about Japan of course, speaking Japanese, listen to Japanese music. Oh, and Sara is also into Korean boybands so she showed us some videos while gushing and squeeing, hahaha. We had so much fun! And then we went to O'Leary's and at the small dancefloor they played awesome music so we ended up spending all the time there. <3
On Saturday we decided to go to a Japanese-Korean resturant for lunch buffet... only when we got there we noticed that they don't serve that on weekends. So we went to a taco buffet instead! It was pretty great.
We then did some more wandering around in shops, until everything was closed. Bought soft ice cream at a little café. And they let us sit there even though they were technically closing up. They even gave us two Danish for free because they would have to toss them otherwise. Score!
We met up with Viktoria's boyfriend Krikka later. Because we were all going to see
The Lovely Bones at the theatre. It was a very good movie. I liked it alot. But so sad...
On Sunday Viktoria and I slept in, then had lunch together in town before I had to leave with the bus. It is a 6 hour bus journey after all, so I wasn't home until 9 pm. Didn't sleep much on the bus, but I had alot of time to think... which was quite nice.
So yeah, it was a pretty great weekend. SO great to see Viktoria, as always. I hope it doesn't take too long until we can meet up again!
Yessss... langos!
OM NOM NOM.
Haha, this is what Sara's room is decorated with. You can really tell which her favourite band is!
I kinda wish I could keep my room this neat and tidy...
Also, this was on her wall... *snicker*
The hostess in person.
We took some pctures with Sara's webcam. I'm the only one that doesn't look excited, oh lol.
<3 Sweeties!
On our way to the club. We kept conversing screaming in Japanese the whole way there.
PARTY LIKE A ROCK STAR!
BROFIST!
We found a budding tree. <3 And this is my new jacket. LOVE IT.
Spring photos, yaay!
At the taco buffet.
FOODS! :D
I want this massage "chair" so bad. It's like this cover you could put on a chair you already had. And so much cheaper than buying an actual massage chair. We tried it out and it was awesome - as you can see by Viktoria's expression.
