Auto Gain Control (AGC) checks what you and the person you are calling hear and makes audio signal level optimal. 
Hints:

• Turn Headphones AGC off if you hear echo, noise, or sound-wave interference.
• Turn Mic AGC off if the person you are calling hears noise.
