Oscar Night!
Okay, so I went to my first Oscar party. Nothing too fancy, just a get-together at a friend's off-campus, although virtually every girl, self-included, came dressed in her best. For me, it was my senior prom dress: an ankle-length sheath of cherry red satin with spaghetti straps, with pearl jewelry, white shoes, and a white purse. Even though only a couple (out of about a dozen total guests) were actually of legal age, there was quite a lot of alcohol present and consumed. But, as I am extremely picky over what I consume, especially by way of chemicals, I remained stone-cold sober the entire night, with the only drinks I had completely virgin. Mwaha.
We had fun watching the Oscars, and I cheered for every LotR win (Eleven, baby! Clean sweep!). In the celebration, I became the human lipstick stamper, placing little pink-red marks on the cheeks of two guys and one girl, but only because they wanted me too. *^_^* The girl also left a sizable pink mark on my left cheek as well. *giggle* So, all in all, much fun, and congratulations to Peter Jackson and the entire cast and crew of Lord of the Rings!
