I know you'll all be shocked to learn that I am still alive. Traditional November hibernation, what can I say?
So, let's see, what have I been up to?
Mostly the usual. Learning German. Reading Latin. Taking care of my little boy. Killing darkspawn. I've spent a lot of time working on knitting projects, as per the usual, so a lot of the time I'm tangled up in yarn or have my hands full of needles. Andy and I just marked our 2-month anniversary, so things are well on that front. I've seen a few new movies lately, including Megamind and Harry Potter (both of which I enjoyed immensely, though I must admit my disappointment at being the only one not dressed as a Muggle when I went to the special event I attended for Harry Potter).
My Buick has officially been dubbed "Doc" by my "Cars"-loving son, despite being a totally different style of car. Ah, well, he's only four. He'll learn.
Thanksgiving was fairly quiet--we went down to my grandma's and had a few of my cousins there, though my brother was with his in-laws and neither of my uncles on that side were able to make it. I hope all of yours out there were pleasant. On to the Yuletide holidays now, I guess (even though decorations have been up all over town since the trick-or-treating lights went off).
There have been some changes, though. Among other things, I am no longer with Cabela's. A bit of a surprise, that one, yes, but not entirely unwelcome. Except for the fact that I could see some of my favorite people there, I really was beginning to not want to be there. So, although the lack of a paycheck is a bit distressing, I'm trying to see this as a welcome opportunity for growth and expanding my horizons in a positive way.
Otherwise, that's about it.
